        | Personal |

Personality: | Optimistic | Joking | Confident | Proud | Naive | Hyperactive | Silver-Tongued | Hoarder | Insane |
Farren is an optimistic, joking fellow, though she doesn't act like a ray of sunshine. She might not always share her enthusiasm with others, but she is always happy. She's confident, proud, and doesn't mind boasting about herself. With her positive outlook, she doesn't expect something bad could happen to her, even though it has and probably will. Farren jokes a lot, often sarcastically. She isn't fond of serious situations, and tries to keep things light-hearted with jaunty humor. She is acitive, hyperactive, even, which is visible in her actions, attitude, and speech. She talks fast, but with a silver tongue. From being on her own, she learned that is she could talk another dog into a trade, she has everything she needs to survive. Farren is obsessed with her stash of human objects. Yes, she is a hoarder... and she doesn't share... Farren may be a bit insane. She isn't a crazed maniac, but she has a few screws loose. She has a strange obsession with human objects and could be found having a full conversation when no one else is around.

Strength:
  • High Stamina and Endurance: While Farren isn't the fastest dog around, she can hold her pace. If you challenge her to a race, she'll tell you to -double- triple the length.
  • Agile: She is quite flexible and can turn on a dime.
  • Daring: Not to be confused with brave. Her naive nature and confident attitude combines to make her willing for anything.
  • Street Smart: She knows the in's and out's of a stray dog's way of live, but when it comes to healing a wound, she's clueless.
  • Tracker: She's got a good sniffer, and could lay out a map of the city in her head.
Weaknesses:
  • Painful to Travel: Caused by her constantly wounds paws, she often hates traveling, or moving for that matter, but she is very active.
  • Avoids Fights: Not much of a fighter, but her technique allows her to tired stronger opponents if she's fast enough.
  • Hates Humans: They separated Farren from the only family she had, so she tried to avoids humans, and active streets, when possible.
  • Naive: She doubts anything bad could happen, so she is vulnerable for trouble.
  • Jokes a Lot: She finds it hard to take matter seriously. Joking is the best way she can cope with stressful scenarios. Hopefully she doesn't take it too far and get slapped...
  • Couldn't Care Less: If a stranger needs her help, don't expect much. She'll hardly do anything unless she benefits in some way. Although, she is more lenient with friends.

        | History |

Pre-group history:
    |Puphood|
Farren was born to a litter of three, which decreased to a litter of two after just a few hours of life. Her mother kept Farren and her brother, Kahnen, safe in an abandon shed house on a farm for the first few weeks of their life. Her mother occasionally left in search of food; the siblings only had each other. They grew very close, and soon inseparable. Their mother raised them to be frugal and smart with their resources. Hunting was important, but scavenging was a necessity. While the pups were never allowed to follow their mother on her trips, they found an abundance of interesting items to store in their stash. Farren's puphood was fairly easy, and calm.
    |Juvenile Years|
One day, after Farren's mother left for a trip, she didn't come back. Kahnen wanted to leave to find her, but Farren pleaded for him to stay. She couldn't accept that her mother was gone. Ultimately, Kahnen left, and Farren had no choice but to follow him. He started off on the path their mother always took, but soon veered to the right. "Kahnen! What are you doing? Mother never went that way-" Farren stood in a narrow clearing, watching her brother hike through thick vegetation. "We have to take a break, Farren, and find some food." He replied, hardly slowing his pace. "But, what if we get lost? We won't be able to find Mother." He finally stopped and turned to meet Farren's eyes. His were cold, and lacked the spark they once held. "Of course, but we need to eat. Where ever Mother is, she'll be fine." Did he not understand how important this was? Mother could be in trouble! But yet, Farren trusted Kahnen. It seemed he knew something she didn't. And by the look in his fading eyes, she knew he wouldn't give up that information.
Farren and Kahnen continued away from the path, and never turned back. They spent a moon on their own, slowly making their way to a town in the distance. Nearing the outskirts, they encountered a few people. Some stared, some fed them, but most ignored them. Then one afternoon, a man with a truck approached. The siblings walked up to him, seeing no reason to fear humans. Without hesitation, the man caged the dogs and throw them in his truck. "Kahnen?" Farren cried. "It'll be okay, Farren." Her brother barked from the other side of the dark truck. They sat in silence the for the rest of they trip. When the door opened again, two humans came to take the cages away. The siblings were separated. Farren's cell in the rundown pound was at the end of the 'Female Canine' hall. There, she slowly slipped into madness. Between the excessive barked, small enclosure, and overwhelming loneliness, Farren began to loose her mind. Pacing only seemed to aggravate Farren even more. She began chewing the cell bars, which left an horrid taste in her mouth. Chewing the walls proved too difficult. The only thing left in the cage was her own body. All day and all night Farren chewed her paws, thigh, or even chest. To her, it felt like the only thing that kept her sane. She was just a few ticks away from going rabid, and no human wanted this creature in their home. She was alone, with only herself to talk to. The only relief Farren received was when the nice young lady would come to walk her. The outside world seems so much more wonderful once it's taken away. All Farren felt like doing was run. And run she did. Her cheap rope leash couldn't hold her back from freedom. She ran into the woods and away from the pound. She wanted to run farther, but couldn't leave just yet. Her brother was still chained up. For the time being, all she could do is survive.
    |Young Adult|
After the shelter incident, Farren was on her own for many moons. She learned her needs came above all else, and became quite selfish. Aside from gathering food, she also scavenged shredded of fabric, scraps of metal, and assorted knick-knacks. But not coins. Coins smelt bad, tasted worst, and are insanely annoying when they hit together. Not to mention they're a burden to carry. As winter came around, Farren found it harder to live on her own. Most dogs traveled in pairs or small packs and could easily over power her. After her makeshift den was raided for a second time, she decided to find a pack of her own.

Extra:
  • Farren continues to rip out her fur and bit her paws, almost as a nervous tick... or if she's bored.
  • Often gives nicknames.
  • Farren loves getting gifts almost as much as she loves stealing them. Except coins
  • Man, she hates coins
  • Loves birds. Dead ones, not living. Living birds are annoying, but dead birds have interesting beaks, and even more so feet, pretty feathers, crunchy bones, and a tasty gizzard.
  • Favorite Weather: Wind, late evening, and Autumn.
  • While it isn't a phobia, Farren hates being stuck in a closed area for long periods on time.
  • Voice: Jules De Jongh voicing Faith Connors in Mirror's Edge, but faster
  • Fighting Style: Farren isn't weak, but she definitely won't last in a fight. She'll often race around her opponent, nipping their ankles, haunches, or scruff. Bigger opponents will tire easily and, if she's fast enough, she won't get hit.
